• 1 cup of butter, softened
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup of dark brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 1/4 cup of all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp of cinnamon
  • 2 tsp of allspice
  • 2 tsp of cloves
  • 1 tsp of ginger
  • 3/4 tsp of salt
  • 3/4 tsp baking soda
  • 3 cups of old fashioned oats
  • 3/4 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • Cream together butter and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla and mix well. In a separate bowl mix flour, spices, salt and baking soda. Add butter and sugar mixture and mix well. Stir in oatmeal, raisins and pecans. Let refrigerate for one hour. Using 1/4 cup measuring cup, fill with cookie dough and place on un-greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350〫for 9-11 minutes or until lightly golden on top. Let cool 10 minutes on cookie sheet. Enjoy!!
